Memorial Eye Center - Texas Ave, Baytown

I had an amazing experience at this eye care center! The staff is always so nice, friendly, and helpful. They went above and beyond while I was choosing my frames and were very patient as I went back and forth between several options. They didn’t mind all of my questions and even encouraged me to try different styles until I found the perfect pair. Their kindness and professionalism made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. I was so impressed that I signed my husband up to use this eye care center as well. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent eye care and outstanding customer service!

The wait times here are very very short compared to other eye care providers. I would recommend this place 10/10. Everyone was very helpful and the eye doctors are knowledgeable.

As a wee young lad in 1978, I got my first pair of glasses in this building when it was still Texas State Optical. I saw Dr. Warford and Dr. Hutto through the years. I saw Dr. Hutto and the new location on Garth. As the years went by and Dr. Warford and Hutto moved on and eventually passed on, I went to other places, but the revolving door of doctors was frustrating. There was no consistency or continuity of patient-doctor relationship like I had when Dr. Hutto was my main provider. I decided to go back to where it all began. I made an appointment with Dr. Matthews. He was very personable and professional. It was a great experience. The staff was amazing as well. They helped me with trying to figure out my insurance. Sometimes you need to stick with what you know and not try out something new. I am glad I decided to go back.

TSO has always been the place for me to come get my eyes checked here in Baytown. I brought my son here today and the staff and Dr. Mathews were more than accommodating. Dr. Warford knows how to put the best team together.

From the beginning of the appointment to the end of the appointment all of the staff were very kind. My son (6yo) was very comfortable there and they made the entire process for him fun and easy on his first time there. I will continue using this office for my exams and my sons.
